@Mikahaha_ This. This is so important. I went into the expac knowing that it would be the start of something new, a foundation for the nxt 10 years of XIV I dampened my expectations & therefore I wasn't disappointed in Dawntrail. Its a shame everyone else was. Every climax has a lull after.

@kelpyfae Dawntrail was OK. I didnt love it but I also knew going in it was basically a reset for the game given we had just finished the Z&H arc. It was a vacation arc for me & I knew after ShB & EW it would be slow. The filler arc that leads to the next season in an anime if you will.

@kelpyfae I adore Stormblood. It was a nice change of pace for the WoL to lose a fight for once & it was fun learning about the other cultures. It was such a welcome change of scenery from the cold & dreary Ishagard setting (not that I had any issue with HW) Especially the Azim Steppe 👌👌
