@RobyGreenwald @atlurbanist@mwgarbett@ATLParksandRec On Wednesday NPU-F voted to support despite the vociferous argument of two members. Don't recall the actual numbers, but support was pretty solid.
@ajc@WilNobles What a joke. I attended the noon meeting. It was over in 20 minutes. The "proposed" redistricting passed on 10/3 on the consent agenda with no discussion. The public was excluded from this process.
@mappingATL What this doesn't show, and I think it would be useful information, is how many neighborhoods are divided among multiple districts. Was keeping a neighborhood intact even a criteria? Since there have been no public meetings, we don't know.

@andreforatlanta Install public restrooms (porta potties are fine to start) so our homeless population doesn't have to do their business in alleys and public spaces. Aside from the issue of their dignity, this is a public health issue.
Miss the Braves parade today? That might not be your fault. RITIS data of Peachtree St. at 12:15p showed that vehicle speeds through our demonstration area were between 4.9 & 8.5 mph: 2-4x the usual parade speed of 2.5 mph. Maybe it’s time to consider some parade-traffic-calming.
