RELEASE CAPTURED CAMBODIAN SOLDIERS
#JusticeForCambodia
After the ceasefire, Thai soldiers tricked and kidnapped 20 Khmer troops one was later killed. Only two were returned, one injured, one mentally ill. This breaks the peace deal. We demand the rest be released now.

Cambodia accuses Thailand of detaining 20 soldiers after a ceasefire was agreed between the two sides. Cambodian officials take foreign diplomats to a destroyed border checkpoint in Preah Vihear and deny Thai claims of ceasefire violations.

Having lived in Cambodia for many years, I’ve seen firsthand the heart and resilience of its people.
Cambodia isn’t a big country, but its people are warm and generous. As the saying goes, “Cambodia is a small country with a big heart.” I’ve seen that play out time and time again.
While elites argue and posture, it’s ordinary people—on both sides—who suffer. The ones who flee their homes. The ones caught in the crossfire. The ones who wake up to find their world shattered by someone else’s decisions.
Tomorrow, Cambodia and Thailand meet in Malaysia. I hope both leaders realize that dragging this out even one more day is senseless. No more rockets hitting homes. No more ancient temples shattered by F-16’s. No more blood spilled over lines on a map.
Time to grow up, step back, and give people the one thing they need most: peace—and the chance to sleep in their own beds again.
We are deeply disturbed by the recent claims accusing Cambodia of initiating violence along the border based solely on satellite imagery analysis by a foreign institution with no direct understanding of the lived realities on our land.
This report comes from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), authored by analyst Nathan Ruser.

Lets be clear; No satellite can see history, diplomacy, or intention.
Images from the sky do not explain the deeper context of the land.
To declare Cambodia guilty without hearing from Cambodia is not analysis. it’s https://t.co/wfGYLAevl5 ignores the past decades of unresolved border tensions.
It overlooks the provocation, the politics, and the pain of those who live on this land.
