@75ThunderRoad My daughter suffered terribly through secondary years with anxiety which led to depression. The worry and feeling of helplessness is horrific.Through listening and loving her she got through it and is now living a happy and fulfilling life with a great career in teaching ahead.

@Headteacherchat Governors have a strategic role and I think getting personally involved with staff could cause issues with the relationship between the staff and the Head. The Head should show Governors what is in place to support wellbeing.

@Alex_Bramley3 I’m totally in support of teachers but some of this isn’t exactly true. I always say a teachers contract is ridiculous due to its vagueness. It makes it impossible to manage teachers and also leaves teachers confused about what they’re actually paid for!

@ashleigh_pain We have a school dog in a maintained nursery school. As well as a benefit for the children it makes it easier for some staff when coming in to the office 😊
