One of the best things you can do for yourself in adulthood, is to learn how to leave things alone.
Just leave it alone. Situations, people, whatever it is, leave it alone.
If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
Number one is unmatched. The older you get as a man, the more you understand your father and the more you forgive him. You begin to view things in his perspective and begin to empathize with him and his younger self for reasons that had hitherto not been apparent to you.
