The #Chiefs and No. 6 overall pick LSU CB Mansoor Delane have agreed to terms on his four-year $41.9M fully guaranteed rookie deal and he’ll sign imminently.
Delane’s deal was done by Travis Allen and Kyle McCarthy of @AthletesFirst.
@hbtCHIEFS After sleeping on it I feel much better. The trade up was rich but listening to Veach and their thought process i understand it. Saints probably were eyeing Delane and the only trade up partner was Cleveland. My guess is Cam Jordan is still a FA can add depth and possible trade
@MitchSchwartz71 Oh I've never criticized him for these deep drop backs. I was just curious on some insight from someone who's had the real world experience playing in those situations with the man! Thanks for the response!
@MitchSchwartz71 Obviously you can't speak for him ice just always wondered because from my own perspective it looks like if he tops off his drop he's got a good pocket to set up in. I also know this isn't always the case
@MitchSchwartz71 I've always wondered, in your opinion, why does Pat take 15yd drops (exaggerating of course). To me doesn't it make more sense to cap it at 10ish to not put your OTs in a bad spot needing to track a rusher so deep up the arc. Is it to try to open up escape lanes? Distrust w/ OL?
In honor of the 🐐 long snapper … we’re GIVING AWAY a signed James Winchester jersey!

@MattVerderame I clicked because I NEEDED to see how idiotic it was. This is exactly why I dont pay attention to national media (with a few exceptions) when it comes to this team. Outside views are like shit snowballs. All it takes is one awful take for it to get traction.
@tuckerdfranklin Or it's just not for everybody. I hate fake meat, doesnt mean I just want to be mad I just prefer fresh grass fed! 🤷♂️ I also hate neopolitan ice cream....again not mad just hate strawberry ice cream. Seems like youre fishing for some political junk on this one tuck!
@MattVerderame The fact people forget they are a "PROFESSIONAL" (using the term loosely still) football team made up of 53 guys SELECTED from the thousands of college players still blows my mind.
