@LvilleFan1 I enjoy going and making a few bets. I’m not a big time gambler. I prefer an option to bet small. Not sure if I’m the minority, but I think most attending aren’t there to gamble hundreds of dollars….especially after buying tickets, which they’ve majorly increased!

@LvilleFan1 @RacingDelgado @Chrissy_Ottb I'll be honest, we owned the horse on a partnership. There could have been a bill of sale…but I never saw one.
The new owners told him they wanted the horse for riding purposes. We found out later the man had passed away. His wife was the one who then sold him….

@RacingDelgado @Chrissy_Ottb …and I am relentless to follow horses we raised and raced, that were claimed from us, to insure nothing bad happens to them.
Anyone who knowingly sells horses to go to PR should be banned from the sport…imo.

@RacingDelgado @Chrissy_Ottb Not throwing blame in any direction but I know from personal experience experience that there won't always be a “bill of sale” because many times, as in our case…our trainer “gave” our horse to someone under the pretense it would be their personal riding horse.

@RacingDelgado @Chrissy_Ottb Our trainer had honest intentions to find him a home. This being said….there are bad people who do this intentionally just to rid themselves of the responsibility. But, that's not the case with every horse that ends up in PR…my horses will never be rehomed that way again.

@RacingDelgado @Chrissy_Ottb We were newer owners and trusted the new owners had good intentions (I will never be so trusting again). The next thing we know…our horse, who needed retirement was running in PR. He ran one race and came in last. I tried locating him after, but had no luck finding him.

@lady_valor_07 The concept of “tipping” has become more of “supplementing a low salary” and less about “extra for good service”. Why should a person get more for the same service just because the meal costs more? Tips should be earned not expected. I still typically tip 20% for good service.
