@ruffydfire I wish you had kept quiet on this aburo. Its not everything that it is permissible for us to make comments on. Surely not about Gods chosen people who nobody can defeat in this world as it is for now.
Genocide has been a long term issue in Nigeria because it is done by only one religious group against the rest of us. In 30 years, i have never heard that any other group hurt the rest of us. It has always been one religious group against the rest of the groups in the country.
Patriotism: Sad day for the military in #Operation Hadin Kai North East Nigeria. May God console the families of those who paid the supreme sacrifice for fatherland yesterday. Amen.
Sad to receive the news of the tragic death of Comrade Abiodun Aremu, who was killed by a hit and run driver yesterday.Aremu was one of the Nation’s foremost and most unrelenting Students, human rights and labour activist.May his soul rest in peace.Ameen.
Paul Biya the ancestor is obviously using french charms on his people if not why would he be trampling on them so much and it is only the English speaking side that has dared to rebel against him. The people of that country are too docile for my liking Comrade. Gaskia.
Nollywood fake scripts. How will you use a balloon to fool your husband that you are pregnant? Somebody should tell those film directors to drop those balloon 'make beliefs' and look for something that would be more realistic to fans. Its annoying to use balloons for pregnancy.
I need 50,000 people to write to tell Facebook that the attempt to bring my Facebook down is politically motivated and malicious.
Let’s do it.
They want to silence me
What PENGASSAN is currently displaying is not trade unionism—it is sheer militancy. Leaders who issue decrees for workers to down tools and threaten to choke oil supply to the Dangote Refinery (a private entity) without even consulting their members are not defending workers…
And the right of a private business owner to breath is also guaranteed in our laws. Meaning he can decide to say he does not want it afterwards there are many private businesses including banks without unions in Nigeria today and hell did not break loose.
Dangote should recall the Workers sacked because of their decision to join their trade unions and PENGASAN should suspend their decision to cut off Gas supplies to Dangote refinery. The nation is proud of Dangote’s Refinery and it’s unprecedented level of success, but the right of workers to Unionise is embedded in the laws of our country.
At least it’s now clear that no government refinery can succeed in Nigeria with the current setup. In just one month, Dangote has faced NUPENG, DAPPMAN, and PENGASSAN. From what we’re seeing, these groups will never allow any government refinery to function.
Dangote sells LPG at ₦700, marketers resell at ₦1,000–₦1,200, yet no union protests.
A union demands ₦50k per Dangote truck—risking higher fuel prices—still no protest.
So what are unions really fighting for? Not the people, but their pockets.
Dangote took his risk and built his refinery. He wants it to operate without disruptions. He wants to have total control. He doesn’t want unionism. He doesn’t want what happened to the Government owned refineries to happen to his own.The Workers want to unionise to protect themselves from what they fear would be ‘slavery’.That’s the clash.
I am actually surprised there are people on the side of NUPENG, PENGASSAN and co.
It’s like saying private universities don’t have the right to fire lecturers who want to join ASUU.
