@MikeSchiff_ Agreed, not ideal. But being able to use the weights for both dumbbells and barbells saves a ton of $. If money is no issue definitely stick with Olympic.

@MikeSchiff_ If you’re going to buy standard 1”dumbbells, you should also start with standard barbell and plates rather than Olympic size so that the weights are interchangeable. Helps you increase weight and get more out of your home gym. And cheaper
