That statement is likely a misinterpretation or sales tactic. It usually stems from:

1. “Not EPA-regulated” Companies twist this into:
“The state doesn’t allow testing”
But the truth: It’s just not required, not banned.
2. Certification limitations
Some labs only offer state-certified panels (like for real estate or compliance)
If hormones aren’t on that approved list, they may say:
“We can’t test for that under state certification”

That means: Not part of their approved package,
NOT illegal to test
