People say Gauteng is boring. Maybe they should stop driving up and down William Nicol all day 🤣 Here's an idea, take a slow drive to Black Horse Brewery in Magaliesburg, have a bite to eat, and then admire the beauty around you while taking a walk around the property. Magaliesburg is about an hour's drive from Joburg but after 30min, you have no clue you're in the Gauteng province. Everything is so picturesque.
The brewery is situated on the edge of the Magalies River with lush green fields and majestic black horses. Overlooking the breathtaking Zeekoeihoek valley, guests can relax and enjoy an afternoon under their magnificent Pecan nut trees. It might seem far to drive for some, but it's worth taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle.
I hadn't been here in over ten years and I simply forgot how charming this place is. As I arrived, I saw everyone having a beer which is brewed on site. Props to the brewmaster. Quality looked top notch. I had a cheese burger which was delicious. Everything seemed fresh and handmade.
I have to give special mention to the staff. Everyone was so friendly even though they were really busy. Finally, the walk around the property sealed the deal. There's no other way to put it other than you have to visit for yourself.
There are so many incredible places to visit across South Africa. All we need to do is shift our mindsets and be willing to explore. When you see the drive as part of the adventure, it becomes a feature and not a drag.
I hope these pictures inspire you to act @likeatouristza (hint, hint) wherever you live. And I hope this post inspires you to document your adventures so that other people equally feel inspired to do the same.
Feel free to follow Black Horse Brewery on Facebook. They're definitely worth visiting and supporting! And if you love their work, please consider sharing this post and paying it forward as a patriotic South African 🇿🇦❤️

Your thoughts please 🥶👀
Yes.
I’d cut the executive to around 15 ministries, remove all deputy ministers, and start the process of recruiting the 15 new ministers because none of the current ones would be guaranteed a place in the new cabinet. Ministries like COGTA will be gone and we will discuss new ways for kings and chiefs to collect monies from their “subjects” - good luck to them.
All new ministers would require 7+ years of relatable industry experience and the retirement age will apply to cabinet members as well. I will also introduce fixed term limits to cabinet executive positions to prevent misters from hopping from one ministry to another.
I’d move Parliament to Centurion. Supreme Court can stay in Bloemfontein.
COSATU and that other team led by Zwelinzima will catch hands - because their agents are unlikely to make it to the new cabinet on the second-most important currency of all… merit. (The most important currency is time)
I’d start a referendum for the reconfiguration of the Republic into a federalised state. If it fails then I will humbly resign as President and return to my career in the private sector. But if it doesn’t fail… keep reading.
District Municipalities will be gone and we shall re-demarcate the country accordingly. This means we will return to or enstill Johannesburg, Sandton, Randburg, Germiston, Soweto as separate interdependent municipalities.
I’d cut all forms of unnecessary social welfare - only pensions, disability grants, homeless shelter, and public healthcare as we know it would remain. The rest… RDP, R350pm, child grants, etc are out. This also means that NHI, Basic Income Grant, and notions of free education will be axed - and yes that includes NSFAS. Our federalised territories can reintroduce certain welfare programmes if their people vote for it, but none will be a national obligation.
I’d initiate the massacre of most SOEs by either removing them entirely (RAF, SALGA, etc) or merging some others (NERSA/NECSA et al, PRASA/GMA et al, etc). The list is too long to give more examples.
There will be a serious drive to insource the needs of municipalities, communities, and public infrastructure like police stations. No more outsourcing of civil services like refuse collection and landscaping. The staff complement will work for the municipality, not contractors.
The security cluster will see an overhaul, with a strong focus on border management, a capable police force, a capable navy, capable air force, and a capable cybersecurity corp. The newly-federalised state will foster increased numbers of men+women in uniform, and associated resources like patrol cars too. Each municipality will be subsidised by the federal state to maintain existing police and fire stations, as well as building new ones.
On education, OBE will be scrapped and more control over decisions will be given to School Governing Bodies instead of only cascading district-wide decisions to local schools. The newly federalised state will also means that headmasters are directly accountable to their council and in turn the voting public.
Petty crimes will carry harsher penalties, with misdemeanours like litter carrying a jail term alongside public crimes like squatting.
Lastly, I will cut taxes heavily and cap personal income tax to 25% at the R800k+ mark. VAT will increase to around 17% and certain import tariffs like luxury goods taxes will be scrapped completely.

"My name is Boitshepo Khunou (22). I am a farmer👩🏾🌾🐖from North West Rustenburg, in a village called Luka. I am also a student at the University of Limpopo, studying Agricultural Economics👩🏾🌾💵. My farm, Bless Piggery Farm🐖🐖, is situated in Bokone under the Bafokeng Farmers Union. I was born into a family where farming is the main activity; therefore, I started my own farm in 2020, where I am rearing pigs.
Since I was born and grew up in a family that was in the farming business, doing farming was not a difficult thing for me. In my upbringing, my dad taught me to farm🐖🐄 🥬, and this is when I started to be interested in knowing more about farming and the impact of farming on our economy. Then I started doing my own research📕 and developed an interest in doing farming as I also saw that there was a gap in the market; that's when I started my own farm.
What I can say to young people who are passionate about farming 👦🏾👩🏾🌾🫶🏽is to do their own research like I did and to engage with other farmers. Always seek knowledge and, most importantly, apply that knowledge to your farm🐖🔥🔌. Be patient and understand that farming is generational, thus you will not see results quickly; just persevere and master your thing. You also need to understand that you cannot do farming alone; you need other farmers to grow🔥🫶🏽. If you can—partner with others who have the same hunger and goals as you, you will see great results.
I am currently selling pigs and pork🐖🐖. My contact details are 063 4231 863, SA. "

Pray about it. Your mood swings, your temper, your ego, your insecurities, your mindset, your self-love, your emotional state, your environment, your relationships, your lack of motivation, your lack of execution, ur attraction to bad people. Pray about it all.
Tonight, my flight into Toronto couldn’t land because of the bad weather. The pilot kept trying to land at Pearson Airport several times but kept failing as the plane was in turbulence because of the storm. Passengers were panicking, some crying, others telling their kids
