In 2026 I’m taking on some swim challenges for @LevelWater, helping provide swimming lessons for children with disabilities.

Only a few weeks to go to the Dart10k for the @LevelWaterSwim charity.
Will be swimming with my niece Laura. This will be her longest swim by far. Please donate to her Just Giving page if you can.
Thanks

Congratulations to all newly elected and returning councillors.

We have an opportunity in Lambeth to show that constructive local politics can work.
Let’s make it so. 🙏
Here, in the harsh urban landscape of the Oval Triangle, we see evidence of the Common Litter Bug.
Unlike most creatures, it leaves colourful wrappings and bottles to mark its territory before slipping silently into the nearest shop for more.
Happy 100th Sir David Attenborough
Congratulations to @Lambethgp Jacqueline on getting elected in Vauxhall.
I would pay to watch her go into SIS/MI6 building and introduce herself.
'My name is Bond. Jacqueline Bond. Your new councillor.'
Election Result: Vauxhall
Elected:
Jacqueline Bond - The Green Party
Liam Daley - Labour Party
David Ford - Labour Party

Looks like a real cliff hanger in Lambeth. Counting resumes at 10am today.
What ever the final results, a big thankyou to all candidates, supporters and council officers that makes this happen. And to @brixtonbuzz for the live commentary.
The Oval Triangle is a small green space opposite Oval Station, sitting at the junction of two ancient Roman roads.
It's also a refuge for homeless litter available in a wide range to cater for every need.
If you would like to adopt some litter, feel free to visit.
Open 24/7.
One day to go to my 24 hour swim for Level Water charity.
Here's me doing a 'kit check' for the event. What would you bring with you? 24 one mile swims need a bit more than just swim goggles and a costume. https://t.co/PKzvVy1Chn
Please donate if you can

Haven't posted in a while but this is for a good cause.
This is the toughest challenge I've ever done. A 24-hour swim – one mile, every hour for Level Water, a charity that helps disabled children to swim.
Please support if you can. Thanks https://t.co/gOFW1tXWQO
Just a gentle reminder, if you live in the Kennington Oval Vauxhall area please find time to vote on the Neighbourhood referendum to tomorrow (Thursday).
Here's a summary of the main five policies.

Can't remember the last time the gates at @Brockwell_Lido were working properly. They are now trying to get £8 from me for not showing up on their system because their staff didn't log me in last week. Oh well. Don't need the stress so will cancel my membership.
@GreenRupertRead@PeterG4NES2019 Agreed. I think it important though to spread our time around since social media owners get advertising revenue from that time. Less time on Twitter and more on Bluesky to see how that develops.
