Then I largely failed.
Here are lessons for the driven that I wish I knew when I was obsessively training and neglecting just about everything else:
I believe high-performance programs should have mental performance and mental health experts working hand in hand like physios and S&C. One is devoted to task specific optimization, one is devoted to maintaining a healthy foundation for optimization to be built on.
