Trip-to-Green means that all eastbound and westbound traffic signals on Highway 50 at Bedford Avenue, Spring Street and Canal Street will be set to stay green. This will alleviate congestion from county residents who are evacuating from the east of Placerville.

Diamond Springs and CALFIRE engines responded to a suspicious fire in the Wildland area behind Fowler Lane. Due to quick action and hard work the crews extinguished the fire. A joint Diamond Springs/CALFIRE investigation is underway. There were no injuries.
