It's Retinoblastoma Awareness Week, a pediatric cancer so rare, there's not much shareable information out there. So here's our contribution. π#RetinoblastomaAwarenessWeek#KnowtheGlow
@BianchiWeather@TeslaPaul1 Thank you for posting on BlueSky - your storm updates are one of the only Twitter draws for me lately. I hoped you would find your way over!
*me, lecturing 4 on running ahead in a parking lot and what could happen*
7: yeah, but sometimes if you get hit by a car you get a lot of money. Like a LOTTT of money.

@eisingerj Journalism grad here - I rarely see in the real world what I learned in the classroom but this is it. Thank you for your leadership. I signed up for your newsletter.
Watching Gen Z men veer right hits different for Millennials. We lived through Columbine, 9/11, the Iraq War, 2008 crash, 2016 election, covid, abortion bans, & now this. We watched institutions repeatedly fail us while older generations selfishly protected the status quo. π§΅1/
@ellielexx I feel this hard. When my daughter was diagnosed with cancer I felt everyone was watching me - the nurse, the fellow, the mom in the waiting room. Watching for the cracks they knew were cracking, but we've been trained to hold ourselves together. I'm so sorry for your loss ππ
4 just put lipstick on me for our playground run, told me I look beautiful and with more judgement than all of my middle school years looked my sweatshirt/sweats combo up and down and said, 'is that what you're wearing?'
Talking about favorite numbers. 7 y/o chose 2. I asked why.
"Because it's like I love you, too"
πππ Ok he might make the world a little better
@SketchesbyBoze A few weeks ago my 7 y/o told me his rose of the day (bright spot) was he discovered he loved a new book - Dog Man. It's the first series he's ever loved on his own. Now it's all he gets from the library and he goes in early to his classroom to read the ones his teacher has β€οΈ
The early Obama days didn't have the digital tools we have now, so it's difficult to compare, but I remember enough about the specifics of the time to know that there's something very unusual happening again now.
@BianchiWeather We are by Southglenn in Centennial and it's been off since late last night. Firemen came by to tell us they're turning it off due to arcing. We saw the arcing for a few hours - looked like blue fireworks!
