A Tutam supporter in Migori. Decolonizing the kind of stupidity that Ruto has managed to hypnotize some of these fellows will take us along time, as Luo leaders!
The Sunday Standard traces the trail behind the Sh2.8 billion police uniform tender, linking President William Ruto, his associates and a network of companies to the deal
How much is enough for one family Jameni?
Ruto's appetite for land is not just insatiable, it is SHAMELESS!
From the 900 acres associated with the family of our Second Vice President, the late Joseph Murumbi, to the 4,000 acres now swallowed at Jipe/Mwakosheni, one question follows his regime everywhere it goes: when is it ever enough?
The people of Eldoro and Taveta Town have answered him and his cronies loudly and unapologetically. They are tired of the grabbing, the intimidation. Most especially, they are tired of watching Ruto turn state power into a tool of theft.
The Coast has spoken with one voice today and said: Enough is enough.
Kenya must be liberated and our land reclaimed, our institutions restored, and the dignity of every Kenyan returned to them.
The struggle continues. KOMBOA KENYA!
SHOCKING: NMG just swapped four directors for Julius Kipng’etich, Juliana Rotich and four others, right after Aga Khan sold to a man who is openly friends with Ruto.
Same building. New owners. New faces with some questions.
Will Daily Nation still report the way it used to when the new chairman’s people are now on the board?
Or did Kenya just lose its last big “independent” media house without a single protest?
Only time will tell because the future doesn't look rosy.
Tomorrow's The Sunday Standard Newspaper has exposed how A web of companies and a Nairobi-based auditor with links to the President William Ruto or his family sit at the centre of the mystery police uniforms supply.

Osoro got 20 slots at the police recruitment and we saw him walking with the now police officers during passing out.
The short Senator from Migori also got his 100 slots of goons, and we saw him leading them to burn Orengo’s car.
To each, Ruto gave according to their usefulness.
Ruto is really misusing those Luos with inferiority complex and low self esteem terribly!
Siaya Governor James Orengo’s white Toyota Land Cruiser V8 was reportedly burnt to ashes in Awendo Town, Migori County, during the Linda Wananchi tour of Migori.

The reported burning of James Orengo’s vehicle in Migori is deeply disturbing and must be condemned without qualification.
Political violence has no place in a constitutional democracy. It does not matter which party someone belongs to, who they support, or what political position they hold.
We cannot normalise a political culture where disagreement ends in intimidation, destruction or violence. Today it is a politician's vehicle; tomorrow it could be a citizen, a journalist, a supporter or an ordinary voter.
The police must investigate promptly, identify those responsible and ensure that the law applies equally to everyone.
Elections should be won with ideas and votes, not fire, fear and intimidation. Kenya cannot build a democratic future with the politics of violence.
We condemn the heinous attack on Governor @orengo_james in Migori during an engagement with the people today. What started with senseless interruption of a peaceful meeting by police officers culminated in a brazen attack by thugs who torched one of the cars in the entourage and sprayed it with bullets. This level of violence is not only unacceptable, it is a precursor to a state of insecurity that the government will be unable to contain if it is left unchecked.
Democratic freedoms and the expression thereof cannot be used as an excuse to weaponize organised crime against people of different political persuasion. This intolerance, especially when it is sanctioned, supported and defended by political leaders, signals a worrying trend that our security agencies seem both unprepared for and disinterested in resolving.
Failure to act now in response to this national security crisis is an abdication of constitutional duty which is untenable. We demand that those charged with the security and safety of our country do their work before it is too late.
Governor Ochilo Ayako, your days in office are numbered. Burn as many cars as possible before you leave office. We will seek justice after you leave office because, for now, the government will protect you. We will be patient.
The arc of the moral universe may be long but it finally bends towards justice. Pole sana Governor Orengo.
