It’s crazy to think that if we’d just held onto that 1-0 lead Vs Barcelona, then beat Atlético Madrid and Arsenal, we’d be heading into a Champions League final in a city where we have already won a trophy and against a team who no matter how much help from referees they get are just unable to beat us . 🏆😢

@Greg_Larmouth @HolzvonHolz Wouldn’t be surprised if they do what Chelsea do. Get a sponsor then start selling the shirt with sponsor after already selling without. Or do what we did back when Northern Rock was taken over by Virgin Money and iron them on (probably for a fee)

❗️Fans of Newcastle United stood out for their civic responsibilities at the Spotify Camp Nou, quite opposite to what happened with the fans of Eintracht Frankfurt and Copenhagen.

Barcelona fans who went to the St. James' Park for the first leg already highlighted the local welcome, sportsmanship and camaraderie, and in the second leg too respect and cordiality also prevailed over rivalries.

Newcastle United Supporters' Club had made a statement saying: "Over 10,000 Newcastle fans are heading to Barcelona. We have an excellent reputation across Europe and we'd love to keep it. Stay together, look out for each other, and have a great time. Everyone likes a drink, but nobody likes a drunk."

2,934 Newcastle fans were able to enter the Spotify Camp Nou, while the rest enjoyed Barcelona and the fan zone set up in the city. With few exceptions, they achieved their goal and they maintained their good reputation.
