Her husband, Kevin, was in critical condition in the ICU and Ruby tragically died in the crash. She leaves behind three young children with the youngest being about a few months old.

The officer managed to regain control of the vehicle before the suspect jumped out of the moving vehicle onto the freeway.
Both the officer and the suspect were hospitalized.
A Dallas police car flipped recently after another vehicle collided with the patrol car.
The crash happened at Arapaho and Hillcrest roads and the officer and driver of the other officer were taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
