Why is #KeepOurDoctors so important? Every year, hundreds of Irish trained internationals are not given the opportunity to stay and serve the Irish healthcare system. This leads to issues with Doctor Retention as doctors migrate overseas. Trust, most want to stay and serve.

Hundreds of Irish-trained medical students should not be punished for being from the “wrong” (according to @HSELive ) countries. In a system with an abundance of understaffing and doctor burnout, accepting more intern doctors is a necessity
