@janecoaston The current structure, given changes in homelife, certainly favors girls. Boys are far less active than they were when we were an agrarian/manual labor dominated society. Recent changes to discipline practices punish male behaviors and aggression far more than female aggression

@drantbradley @VigilantFox While it is true grading performance across districts would certainly be unfair, it is certainly reasonable to rate teachers against other teachers in their school and district. It certainly opens up other issues (favoritism in class placement being one), but it isnt impossible.

@HoegLaw I would also argue that acting is maybe the most commoditized of the 0.1% professions. Can anyone tell me who the definitive best actor in the world is, in terms of talent not box office success? I can tell you the best baseball player, basketball player or football player.
