NO, you CANNOT walk 10,000 steps daily, get 8 hours of sleep, cook every night, clean every day, take care of a family, make time for your own hobbies, and still be productive at work every day. This is not just propaganda, it is rubbısh. Free yourself from it.
People really compare dyinġ from poverty to Darwin’s “survival of the fittest.”
Poverty is a social construct driven by wealth hoarding in the post industrial age, not by any natural shortage of resources.
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, “Never play fair in a game where others cheat.” It doesn’t mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they’ll throw dirt. Sometimes wisdom is not revenge. Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
One of the most overlooked forms of wealth is having complete ownership of your time.
Waking up and knowing nothing about your day will be decided by someone else is priceless.
Do you believe your ancestors will not go to heaven because they died before the Bible came to Africa?
Who were they praying to when they looked at the sky?
Who answered when they cried for rain?
Who protected them before 1884?
The concept of having children is arguably the most selfish decision in life.
And you owe that child every form of support until either of you leaves this world because they didn't ask to be here.
Because you and your partner enjoy sex, you decided to procreate. Now you have adults in this world fighting for their lives, crying, struggling, and working hard just to survive because they no longer have any other option. If you ask most people, many will tell you they don’t want to be here.
So as a parent, you are not doing your child(ren) a favor by raising them to their full potential. It is your responsibility. You made a selfish decision. They couldn't consent to being here because they didn't have that ability. Now deal with the weight of raising them, regardless of how difficult it becomes. That is the consequence of your decision.
The moment you bring a child into the world, you assume a lifelong responsibility. Food, shelter, education, guidance, emotional support; none of these are special favors deserving applause. They are the bare minimum. You created the obligation the day you chose to become a parent.
The more you learn about Hollywood the more evil you realize it is, and the less worried about AI you are.
The amount of creative gatekeeping is insane. The amount of control is insane.
Bring on the AI art. Bring on the AI anime, movies, and series. We're going to have a supernova of creative content.
Not the sanitized, committee-approved garbage we have today.
For those that remember the Golden Age of the anime OVA, we're going to get that.
No more gatekeepers. No more ratings agencies. No more big business. Totally uncensored and creatively liberated storytelling.
the main character suffering their whole life just to die at the end of the story gotta be my least favorite thing in fiction ever. i don’t care how realistic it is
As fukd up as it is, people respect you more when you're mean, cold and set boundaries, and Africans have been the punching bag of other races for centuries. Weak people are exploited. This has been the rule of life itself.
