contrary to the default reaction on this little website, this is absolutely incredible news for anthropic.
i mean obviously yes, the operational disruption is real. but public & world perception wise, this could not be a bigger home run. could be a grand slam type situation.
the fucking united states govt just looked at their model & effectively said.. yeah this shit is too powerful. you simply cannot buy that kind of aura. it elevates every other product by the company & it instantly reframes anthropic’s work as strategically significant, nationally relevant, & qualitatively different from the rest of the field.
there is not a single institution on the planet that can buy or orchestrate this type of significance.
absolutely ridiculous.
Claude code is good. Codex is better. Most people who disagree actually just haven’t tried codex yet, and they don’t want to (claudebrain)
Anthropic’s marketing and brand position is so good and their products generate so much dopamine in users, everyone I know is infected with claudebrain
There isn't a single smart person I know that uses claude code over chatGPT 5.4 xhigh by the way.
The only reason anyone would use claude is, amusingly, because claude does not have guard rails. But now they do, so there is no reason remaining to use it
Opus 4.5 in Claude code acts like it was RLHF’d for dopamine and human supervision. GPT 5.2 in codex acts like it was RLHF’d on writing PRs that get merged without architectural criticism from a senior engineer. One agent is fun, the other is effective.
In 2025 the limiting reagent in building software is human attention.
Compute is cheap, information entering a human brain is expensive.
Devtools should optimize accordingly.
We just raised $60M led by Scale Venture Partners, and Rocket Money CEO Haroon Mokhtarzada is joining our Board!
This is the moment we've been building toward—and it changes everything.
With this funding and Haroon's expertise, we're moving fast:
-Rai is getting smarter with expanded AI capabilities.
-We're launching a West Coast expansion.
-Our broker-dealer services are rolling out to give you even more investment options.
The traction speaks for itself: $400M in assets under management, $9.5B in assets under advisement, $100M in total funding, 5,000+ members across all 50 states, and 300% year-over-year revenue growth.
But what excites us most is what's next—millions of Americans getting access to the wealth management they deserve.
Let's build!

Using coding agents in the cloud now seems to be bottlenecked by the fact that it’s hard to configure an repo’s cloud environment with all the secrets and permissions it needs, in a secure way.
Elizabeth street garden is awesome. It should not be replaced. I’d rather have a skyscraper in Nolita than lose the garden. Build new housing anywhere except in public green spaces.
Been thinking a lot about this tweet. It’s striking how, in trying to “save” Elizabeth Street Garden, Cuomo channels the same quiet contempt for NYC that defines his whole campaign (and, frankly, NIMBYism).
“Concrete neighborhood.”
It’s Nolita, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the country. Walkable, buzzing, full of restaurants, shops, and life. Steps from the eight-acre Sara Roosevelt Park. Hardly the wasteland he implies.
“Cherished treasures.”
The garden’s nice! And it matters to people. But it’s been open to the public for only a handful of years. Meanwhile, Seward Park, Kimlau Square, and countless other downtown spaces (older, fuller, more deeply tied to the city’s everyday life) struggle for care and investment. Why don’t they get this attention?
Cuomo doesn’t love NYC or want to see it grow. He endures it. He speaks about it like something that must be tamed, not nurtured. It’s revealing he gravitates to this fight.
I'm working on this ticket and this PR
Read the ticket. Then read the PR Diff. Then read the PR git log. Then Ultrathink.
Let me know when you feel caught up.
@thsottiaux Slash commands (including ability to customize them and create my own). Also, need better image/screenshot UX for pasting those into context window.
