2025 was weird though with Mamdani overperforming in the primary, then Cuomo overperforming in the general (but well short of winning).

@Jlrube Is it true that Michigan has open primaries - so that Sanders in 2016 and Stevens in 2026 could win crossover voters that polls don't account for?
@gelliottmorris A big question was even Haley Steven's alleged internal as bad for her as the public polls? I've never believed internal polls were way much better than public polls, even though may posters present them as the hidden truth.
Guessing but probably something to do with political engagement bias that correlated with vote choice that you canโt weight out of without a past vote/party benchmark (since not a general)
