Today was day 1 of our first Google Ads at Scale program.
My head coach @KeithPares and I taught…
- How to reduce your CPC by optimizing “quality score.”
- How to push competitors ads out of the view window using callouts, site links, and extensions.
- How negative keywords, phrase match, and location targeting can pinpoint the exact buyers you want.
- How to ensure your tracking is installed properly with GTM preview window and tracks across domains (cart, stripe, etc).
These are hands on live trainings 2x a week.
Tuesdays we teach.
Thursdays we critique.
You learn new stuff on Tuesdays, implement on Wednesdays, and then get feedback & help on Thursdays.
They’ll walk away with brand search campaigns, retargeting campaigns, and cold traffic campaigns.
Each member is GUARANTEED a profitable campaign at the end OR their money back. But they have to attend 14 out of 16 calls and complete each assignment.
No wallflowers.
Can’t wait to share the results that come out of this cohort.
Last month I enrolled in the 2-Day Bootcamp offered by @mindstudioai to learn how to build ai agents & automated workflows using their platform.
I loved the bootcamp, learned a lot great new skills, and developed a much deeper understanding of how LLMs & ai agents work.
After a short pause for the Holidays I just completed my Level-2 Certification and I figured what better way to celebrate then to dive in head first to the full 30-Day Level-3 Certification bootcamp.
Looking forward to challenging myself this month to learn & grow with the MindStudio community!
💰 $10k Copywriting Case Study
Day 29
::: THE FULL SYSTEM BREAKDOWN :::
I've been getting a few criticisms or complaints, so lets talk about them first...
Q: I thought this was going to be daily?
A: I run 3 successful businesses I can't work on this daily. At only $10k it's just not worth my daily focus.
Q: I want to join you / follow along / intern...
A: Unfortunately, some might use this as a way to find my profiles and out me. So I can't do that right now, but here's the full system...
Parts:
X Profile
Medium Profile
Stadium Pitch (PDF)
Dream 100 (Spreadsheet)
Customer Persona (PDF)
Empathy Map (PDF)
Claude Account (AI)
In total this system costs me $25/mo and I'll probably add a $5/day ad budget soon.
Now lets break down how I use each piece and how it all will lead to 4 clients at $2,500/ea...
Medium & X Profile:
These are purely for content marketing. I built a "Project" in Claude called "CPA Content Creator." See past updates for explanation. This project is trained on my customer persona and empathy map PDF's and my writing style. I use Claude to generate 1 article a day and 3 X posts a day. They never EVER vary from my topic, because I want the algorithm to understand my audience. What I ate for lunch and being mad at my cable company or politics is not for these profiles.
Stadium Pitch & Dream 100:
These two resources are used together. The Stadium Pitch is a helpful educational resource that addresses my target markets main pain points and desires. It's a gift (not a sales pitch) which makes me a welcomed guest instead of an annoying pest when I email the people on my Dream 100 spreadsheet (100 ideal clients I scraped from the Internet). I just need 4 out of 100 to say yes, I'm hoping to pull the 4 clients out of here and not need paid ads.
Learn more about creating a stadium pitch and dream 100 in Chet Holmes's book "The Ultimate Sales Machine."
When done correctly a stadium pitch removes the need for testimonials, but if you have them USE THEM. If not, find quotes from other experts that affirm your statements. However, the stadium pitch should demonstrate your knowedge so well and be filled with so many stats that the reader assumes your credibility instead of questions it.
Customer Persona (ICP) & Empathy Map:
These two documents are created before anything else. In 20yrs of helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, not having these 2 documents is a pattern I've witnessed in all stuggling entrepreneurs. Without these two documents you don't know what you are aiming at in your copy. You don't know their real fears, frustrations, desires, dreams, etc. It's step 1, right after choosing your market.
Just have Claude make them for you.
Claude (NOT ChatGPT):
If you're actually a copywriter and care about writing quality, then you won't use ChatGPT. Claude has long been known as the best writing model. It understands storytelling, empathy, and humanized writing better than any other model. This is confirmed by Stefan Georgi and other top copywriters as well. "But it knows me..." Claude will too, do yourself a favor and get off ChatGPT which is the Walmart of AI.
Putting it all together...
The first week or two you're creating your Claude projects, customer persona, empathy map, stadium pitch, dream 100, and two profiles. Most of you can get that done in a couple days.
From there it's just a matter of showing up and going to work.
Every day you work with your writing assistant (Claude) to help you write 1 article and 3 X posts. Article and first post go out at 7:45am. Next post goes out at 11:45am and the final post at 7:45pm.
If you have the budget, Tweet Hunter helps schedule out the X posts. It's very helpful. I'm using it right now for this post. Look at the post time. 😉
Once your content is created you should use your dream 100 list to reach out to 10 people on it each day. I like to send them highly useful links, like podcast episodes or Youtube or more stadium pitches if you got the writing chops to do 3-4 of them.
Once in awhile, send them an article your wrote on Medium or an X post you think they really should see.
The point is to be the most helpful person they've met this month. Then wait for them to say "Hey you've been so helpful, what is it that you do?"
That's the same as the moment in fishing when your line goes ZZZZiiiiing! You know you got them hooked and NOW it's time to pitch them.
"Oh I'm glad you asked, I didn't want to be pushy. I help CPAs get more clients year round and raise their ratesto $500/hr+."
Personally, the way I'm wired, I wouldn't even finish that with an invite to a call. I'd let them swallow the hook and ASK ME for a call.
I always want to be the hunted not the hunter. Just makes for WAYYY easier sales calls.
This has gotten really long, I'll do a part 2 tomorrow with the sales system. The stuff you should do and say on the call when they ask to hear more about how you do what you do.
Is this better?
Does this help you see the step-by-step system better? It's why I don't post daily, it's kind of boring. I'm just fishing and until you get a bite, fishing just looks like standing around with a rod in your hand.
Newbies can't deal with this boring phase. They are like the little child who has to keep reeling in the line to check on the bait.
Trust the process.
Stick to the system.
It takes a few weeks for the algorithms and market to even notice someone new is doing something. But with 4 pieces of content a day 5 days a week, that's 80 pieces of content a month. Eventually one of them is going to pop off and you'll have your moment.
Or...
You'll be impatient, always seeing another secret, and just be in this forever state of starting over with something new every couple months.
Let's chat sales tomorrow.
✌️❤️
If you're a copywriter make sure you follow @IMjustinbrooke and have notifications turned on for this case study. I have 61 days left to make $10k and it'll all be documented.

This automation is literally what runs the Future Tools website. When people ask how I stay so up to date and know about all the tools... Well automations do most of the heavy lifting. I just constantly keep an eye on what my automations spit out.
@elonmusk@neuralink Hey @elonmusk have you heard of @jasonelibecker ? He's been living with ALS for 35 years and still manages to create music. It would be amazing to see what having a @neuralink could do for his creativity.
