@JeffreyPWiesner Yes I am a pastor. Not yet. I’ve got a few younger guys I’m working with. Haven’t read this one. Right now, one group is working through Bavinck’s Wonderful Works of God. Another group is working through Mystery of Providence by Flavel. Also good books!

@MikeCosper This is one of the major shifts. Before 2016, parties figured the electorate was like a bell curve and the path to victory was getting the larger share of the center. Now, since Trump, it’s like twin peaks and whoever’s is higher that year happens to win.

@EdwardLHamilton@IVMiles I don’t know the history of the Roman Empire that well. But I think Acts 20:23 also supports this view. The Holy Spirit told Paul there would be imprisonment and afflictions in every city. Seems like a negative world to me.
