@EmmaLewell@NadiaWhittomeMP You can add promising there will be no tax rises and then raising NI to that list which has resulted in huge numbers of redundancies
@willguyatt Hitachi Vantara were also compromised last week. They are a supplier to at least 2 of the firms impacted. Could be a complete coincidence of course.
@RichardBurgon Probably similar to the number of Labour voters who now regret their decision and wish they voted for a party who hasn’t gone back on almost every promise it made.
@i_iratus What you’re not considering is that most wealth is not liquid. Lots of millionaires don’t have 2% of their net worth in a bank account, so how are they going to pay your wealth tax?
@IanByrneMP@garyseconomics I’m a millionaire. You want to tax me for the money I’ve made and already paid tax on? Not happening - I’m leaving the country. Good luck propping up your public services without us all.
@RichardBurgon@LBC I’m a millionaire and if you tax me any more, like most others, I am leaving the country. Good luck trying to balance the books without all of us.
@AnglianWater what is going on? Your online fault reporting service says you don’t supply me (you do) and when I call your call centre to report an issue it just drops the call when I press 1?
@Lovethebikini@GBNEWS The economy is already in a mess so sales are down. They also have to consider redundancy consultation and paying notice periods (which everyone will want to make sure is at the lower rate before April)
@jet2tweets I’m in Vienna, and you have 4 check in desks open for 4 flights which are all departing in the space of an hour. Queue is out of the terminal door. Not good enough.
@PeterStefanovi2 Probably because the NHS is stifled with inefficiency that can’t be addressed because of red tape. If a private business can deliver it more cost effectively and create a profit for shareholders, what’s the issue?
@RichardBurgon The poor become the rich and super rich by taking risks. Any more tax and this country is no longer a place to take risks - I’ll take them in other countries where the reward is worth it. Your primary school tax plan won’t work.
