Why interested? Because of my visit to LA in April.

I was horrified. Wife wanted to see the Walk of Fame. Filth. Mental Illness on display. We lasted 5 minutes.

Naw. I salute the hustle. He'll learn from his mistakes....specifically, making sure he has 'adult' advice for his next campaign.

Far too many disputes between a David and Goliath end up with the Goliath taking the position of 'Sue me then', knowing full well the David doesn't have the means or sophistication to, even if they were on the side of Angels.

I used to work with a company where the CEO was a Sociopath, and used his knowledge of the legal system for massive gains over smaller 'ma and pa' businesses. Occasionally his bluff was called, but not often. Most 'normies' are intimidated by the law.

The arrogance of BAM's CEO was telling. If an ethical/honest person was in that situation, he'd have immediately realized the scope problem, and the risk to his company. He would have invited all parties to a meeting to try and reach a solution.

BAM's CEOs demeanor gave me flashbacks. I just feel sorry for his franchisees. What a nightmare for them.

Right. Ben doesn't appear to be the most sophisticated fraud fighter, however, his 'crimes' are innocent/ignorant in nature. If it ever came to a jury trial, my bet is on acquittal.

However, BAM could end this today with a confidential settlement and a statement:

'Whilst we strongly disagree with the majority of the narrative against BAM that was recklessly portrayed by Ben, we nevertheless admit that some of our internal systems, checks & balances were inadequate. We are implementing necessary changes effective immediately.

The original owner of the Lego has been fairly compensated and all involved parties have agreed to cease ongoing legal action'.

Anything short of that and the company, along with hundreds of innocent franchisees and employees are toast.
