nothing erodes attraction faster than feeling like you have to teach another adult how to behave like a thoughtful, self-aware, and emotionally mature person.
A lot of people aren’t chasing what feels good, they’re chasing what feels familiar. And familiar doesn’t always mean healthy, joyful, peaceful or even right, it just means known. And people will often pick the path of what they know, the path of least resistance, even if it’s draining or miserable, because deep down they’re afraid of the unknown. Afraid of losing, failing, or stepping into something new and realising they can’t sustain it. Familiarity gives the illusion of safety, even when it’s the very thing that’s been breaking them & keeping them small.
LIFE FACT:

Wishing you peace in your own battles.
One thing adulting has taught me is that I am not above anything. Literally anything can happen. Hence I must never be too quick to speak over situations I’ve never found myself in. No one is above anything not even your good actions can save you from your fair share of trials.
Deep convos are my safe place. My love language is intellectual intimacy. There’s something about peeling back the layers of who we are, tracing the roots of our emotion & mapping out the way our pasts shape our present that feels like home to me.
The older you get the more you realize that everything REALLY is that deep.. the people you confide in, trust, date, become friends with, the opportunities you take. What you consume mentally, spiritually, & emotionally. It’s very deep & shouldn’t be taken lightly!
Healthy women do not want to be lusted after and used. They want to be passionately desired in a devotional way by a man who provides, protects, and honors them.
when it comes to relationships, love is work. it’s not a fairytale of relying on chemistry: but it’s also not the type of work that exhausts you or drains you. it’s work that challenges you, pushes past your self-imposed limitations & maintaining/nurturing it is an active choice
