I haven’t made a full rib subluxation video (Yet! Still planning/capturing footage!), but I managed to lightly edit, caption, & post a vid of fixing an anterior subluxation a few months ago. I’d love to know if it’s helpful/any feedback from the #NEISvoid https://t.co/DlTcH6AC0l
@artistAuDH I do have MCAS & hyperPOTS; brain fog can definitely play a part, but for me the big thing was burnout from my first degree. Couldn't get through a book for 8 years after. I can now, but not like I could with my pre-burnout hyperlexic hyperfocus. I used to just absorb everything.
#medtwitter Please think of #EDS#MCAS#POTS before deciding a patient's symptoms are psychiatric. I have several patients irrevocably harmed as a result of not being believed, and this incredible woman was practically gaslit to death. https://t.co/yW7INfn6CU
@barefacingit @Autistic_Lia Yeah, this one. There are only a couple flavors and a couple textures I've tried that I ever didn't like. I was a very sensory seeker with food and would try anything until GI issues made me more careful. Still love strong flavors though!
@AmberlynWhite I've gotten less & less willing to mask, but being conscious of it does make it "easier," in a way, bc I have a better perspective on where it's coming from & what it's trying to achieve, if that makes sense. So it's easier when necessary, but I'm actively doing it less. I'm 36.
Starbucks workers have also been passing around this petition for at least a week, which has over 2,500 signatures demanding the company let them decorate for Pride again:

If you’re a disabled person, @SFdirewolf’s organizing has likely helped make the life you lead possible. That’s not hyperbolic or figurative. She has provided language and resources that literally, materially build crip worlds.
Now we can help make her life possible too.
Pride month is barely underway, and @Starbucks managers are telling workers they can’t decorate for pride any more. Add your name → https://t.co/uE2t1aSFJa

#starbucks isn't letting us decorate for Pride anymore, or any other holiday, apparently. I'm not entirely clear on how high up this comes from, but I know my store would really appreciate all y'all's signatures on this petition. https://t.co/PPDQneS59u
@sarahdayarts In a practical sense, what does this look like? How do we treat reality? I agree 100%, but am autistic & struggle to know how to address or implement in my life. People have gotten so defensive. I don't really know how to be gentle? or persuasive? enough so I just avoid. 😢
@AutisticCoach_ Two decades of misdiagnoses & treatments not working, gravitating toward other ND folks IRL, a decade of relating to autistic posts online, following more, finding communities, years of research.
@AutisticCoach_ Yes, I can. Then there's differentiating temporary and chronic illness symptoms. Usually pretty good at this too, but when I had less familiar symptoms that turned out to be iron poisoning, I thought it was executive dysfunction/burnout.
