Hopefully the health checks out & holds, but a potential sneaky signing by Howie to sure up the back end of a decent looking Edge room.
Lots of established veteran talent with different intriguing athletic profiles to go with Hunt & Smith!
Really like the AJ Epenesa signing for Vic Fangio’s group.
Powerful body type at 260 with outstanding length (34” arm). Highly productive rotational piece with a unique ability to take away the flats as well with four INTs and 14 PBUs the last three seasons. Alignment versatile as well that could slide down in certain spots.
Epenesa could be intriguing.
A potential rotational piece who had a great 3 years from '22-'24 with 5 FF and 19 sacks.
Then he failed a physical with the Browns when they tried to sign him in March '26.

Looks like rookie TE Eli Stowers isn’t doing much today either (maybe yesterday, too). Had a sleeve on his right leg.
With WR Makai Lemon still out, #Eagles’ top 3 draft picks have been injured this minicamp.
Have yourself a spring Mr. Woolen!
Hopefully the feelings they get on Woolen is right on point with the feelings and outcome that Baun & Rodgers were!
The player I’ve heard the most praise for this spring? Riq Woolen.
Might be some novelty bias because it’s their first time seeing him, but he’s showing up in this session, too. Remained tight in coverage vs. DeVonta Smith.
Reminds me of the way Zack Baun, Isaiah Rodgers were received two years ago. They could tell right away.
Quick notes from the first 7-on-7:
- Riq Woolen had really nice coverage vs. DeVonta Smith on a deep crosser. #Eagles coaches have raved about Woolen’s spring, easy to see why.
- Andy Dalton is QB2 for a third straight open practice
- Jalyx Hunt picked Dalton off @PHLY_Eagles
Lucky we have stats that speak for themselves...
Brown knows he really doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Reasons he wanted out were simple: personal challenges/loss of connection with Hurts. Drive to play for his childhood team. Returning to play for his favorite coach.
Jalen Hurts ranked 8th and 6th in the last 2 seasons in tight window throw rate among QBs with double-digit starts.
AJ Brown ranked 2nd and 3rd in the last 2 seasons in yards on tight window throws.
Brown continues to invent excuses for being a bad teammate.

The #Eagles kick off their two-day mandatory minicamp this afternoon. The schedule:
12:30 p.m.: Nick Sirianni press conference
1:00 p.m.: Practice begins
After practice, we’ll hear from select players.
This is wild!
I can't imagine saying he's worth a 3rd and then sending a 1 & 5...
How would those conversations even go to have Howie say ok a 3rd is a no for me but let's do a 1 & 5? 🤣
According to Jeff McLane, Patriots viewed AJ Brown as worth a 3rd round pick.
They ended up paying a 1st and 5th, despite it being increasingly obvious AJ didn't want to return and already had mentally checked out the entire 2025 season.
Good deal, Howie.
#Eagles
@Iareyoungman We run a 3-4 defense meaning we start 3 iDL, not 2.
So having only 2 for backup is quite light.
However, they managed that way most of last season so as long as health remains on their side.
Some significant money being dropped by the Eagles to add to their defensive line.
Outside Carter, Davis, Ojomo, Young & Robinson, there really isn't much for interior defensive line depth or competition in Philly.
He was denied a waiver to play a 6th year in a transfer to Virginia after a first-team all AAC performance including 7 sacks at ECU!
Source: Eagles signed former East Carolina iDL Zion Wilson to a UDFA deal.
Terms of the deal include a $25k signing bonus and $225k in guaranteed money.
Interesting 🤔
I wonder if Mary Kay is referencing never made a play this off-season or just when trade talks recently heated up again.
After the Greenard trade & extension, I think the Eagles backed out of the Edge market. They got their vet to pair with Hunt & Smith.
#Eagles never made a play for #Browns DE Myles Garrett and there's zero chance they would've wanted DT Jalen Carter in return, source tells clevelanddotcom.

Continued internal praise for International Prospect Uar Bernard.
I can't wait to see what Clint Hurtt does with this man!
It's a stretch, but Hurtt, like Stoutland, is a guy I have all the faith in the world in to exploit such a freak!
Jordan Mailata on Uar Bernard: "Uar is a freak. He's also not of this planet. ...He's just freakishly strong, freakishly fast, and I can't even compare him to me, just because he's just, again, not of this world, just by like metrics and numbers-wise. You see his effort on the film, once he puts it all together, I think it's a wrap."
Brandon Graham was released today — a procedural post-June 1 move based on his contract.
This might not be in the end of the line for Graham, though. He remains interested in returning.
@LeanHamNeeson I agree I know it will get fans going.
I believe he was going to (whether an Eagle or any of the other 30 teams) eventually force his way to New England to end his career.
Circumstance with offense frustrations & Vrabel in NE, just gave him the perfect storm & opportunity.
