@josephamadigan@NewstalkFM@ucddublin@Education_Ire Why is the course not based at Level 7 as Ucd recommended. Why has the DOE only agreed to give it level 6 and a special award level 6 at that. Again SNA'S totally disrespected. In what other profession would this happen
#repesectforsnas
@lindaosull88 This course should have nothing to do with the change in education requirement for new SNA'S. It is not even available for them to do. Why are we to be happy with being disrespected by the DOE again? Ucd said l7 dept said NO. Where the respect for snas in that.
@apike1@apike1 I appreciate all the hard work the Sna's and forsa have put into this. Why have forsa accepted this on the Sna's behalf when we where originally told its l7. Have you received information on why l6 was decided instead?
@Education_Ire@NormaFoleyTD1 This course deserves level 7 like @ucddublin suggested. Very disappointing. Again the SNA'S not being treated with respect from the top.
@lindaosull88@ucddublin@apike1@forsa_union_ie glad it's a recognised course now but why not the level 7 @ucddublin said it deserves. Sorry if I seem negative and can't thank yous for all the hard work but feeling a bit disappointed with l6 and that's my honest opinion.
@SNAsSpeakOut@lindaosull88 I agree with all your saying, however if there's no teachers, subs etc the alternative is for the classrooms to be shutdown and kids sent home. That's a hard call.
We can live in hope the DOE will sort it.
Sporting bodies such as the GAA, the FAI and the IRFU should make it mandatory up to a certain level that every child who togs out should be guaranteed a half in a match with no exceptions. Children, parents and coaches would all benefit.
