A great day with year 9 PASS doing Surf Ed. The sun was shining in the morning, but turned very cold towards the end. The students were absolute troopers even when freezing π₯Ά
It was a beautiful day yesterday celebrating year 12 with a graduation mass and then graduation ceremony in the evening. This was my first year 12 group, so a really special day full of mixed emotions. Excited to see what the future holds for these wonderful young people π
Earlier this year we made a yr 12 class poster, the pot of flowers, 1 for each student and myself as the watering can. Today, on their last day I gave them sunflower seeds to plant to remember the class,& they turned around and gave me a signed pot with flowers.I love my job π»π
Had a great day out at CCC softball coaching the Broken Bay softball team! A bunch of fantastic players, with 7 Broken Bay students being selected for the CCC team!
Another beautiful week with Edmund Rice Camps. A whole year away has made it even more special, and getting to know 10 wonderful, amazing children over the past 4 days has been incredible. Feeling very blessed and fulfilled tonight π
A 12 hour day is made much easier when Year 9 Food Tech students hand deliver delicious noodles and then Year 11 Hospitality students bring you multiple lemon meringue tarts throughout the evening for open day! Exhausted, but also very full!!
Year 9 PASS debated βTechnology has a negative impact on young peoples participation in physical activityβ. Lots of great arguments presented, and finished by placing themselves on a scale after considering all points raised. Interesting to hear their personal experiences!
Weβve finally been given a senior PDHPE and CAFS room, so my HoD and I have been on Canva for days making resources! Need some more ideas because we have so much wall space!
The sign of a good lesson! Year 8 are looking at developing our components of fitness, so we did a muscular endurance circuit. They all tried so hard, said they felt great afterwards and want to do it again next week! Iβll definitely be feeling it tomorrow! πͺπΌ

βEdorβ is quickly becoming our schools favourite PE game. A fantastic Indigenous game that is easy to set up, and has all students moving and working together to succeed. Dozens of students now beg me each lesson to play it!
Today I finally got to be with my mentor group after a week of reconnection activities. I gave them all a little gift with a note to welcome them back. Lots of thank yous, and a particular βthank you miss for taking the time to write all of theseβ. Love these kids and my job π
Happy #WorldTeachersDay ! So thankful to be back in the classroom this week, seeing all the smiling faces and hearing lots of laughter! Itβs a challenge but itβs the best job in the world π₯°
