keep your eye on the donut and not the hole

@oifoeffml @Kain424 @ChrisRGun @TuLoong88 The real goalposts were the ones we moved along the way.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@oifoeffml @Kain424 @ChrisRGun @TuLoong88 Imagine a movie trying to establish the out of touch decadence of an authoritarian leader by threading together shots of a gilded ballroom between news clips of tens of millions of people losing their healthcare and random people being assaulted by plainclothes state police

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@kilday_morgan @Brensweets @umichvoter If this group is irrelevant then theres no reason not to endorse Mamdani. The whole original premise was praising Jeffries for not endorsing him to spite this irrelevant group.

@John01233614009 @onarollmygod @a3vryb155 @GreyKnight8008 @2Bonus2Eruptus @amolitor99 Maybe you werent paying attention in 6th grade english, or maybe you arent there yet, but context and audience does actually change how someone writes something. Its like saying a soldier from a propaganda movie and anti-war film are both "soldiers." Youre ignoring everything.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@onarollmygod @a3vryb155 @GreyKnight8008 @2Bonus2Eruptus @amolitor99 And *this* is why we dont listen to you: you ask a question for a dunk, we give you an actual answer, and instead of responding to it your eyes glaze over and you say "nah." Its impossible to talk to someone whose ideology consists entirely of witty one-liners.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 "fewer people shouldn't have to compete with more people" is very democratic buddy, youre so right

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 Conservatives trying to define democracy: some people's votes just matter more than others. Those evil city folk would do awful things if they had the majority, so we need to make sure the minority of people get to decide on things instead

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 If youre swapping out undemocratic for bad in your head, thats a you problem. And it certainly explains the bizarre belligerence over what shouldn't be a controversial opinion. America is a democratic republic but with several undemocratic institutions. The EC is another example.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 Ill say this one more time to be unreasonably diplomatic, if your position is that its okay for the Senate to disproportionately favor smaller states to protect their interests, I have never once taken issue with that. I dont understand your issue with calling it undemocratic.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 Thank you for repeating exactly what I said all the way up here. The point of the House is to proportionally represent PEOPLE, the point of the senate is to *dis*proportionately represent LAND. You keep pretending I didnt acknowledge the House, I have.

https://t.co/AafJ7cdb9f

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 That's an excuse. You can say that its okay that the Senate is undemocratic because the house is proportional and you want to protect the rights of smaller states, but you need to accept that that is biased. Some peoples votes for senator objectively count for more than others.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 Let's see how many replies it takes for you to drop your third "have a shitty day"

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 She'll sleep with anyone, I'm not surprised. Id say you should get yourself tested but what's one more to throw on the pile for you, right?

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 You too babygirl 😘

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 This is literally my entire point. The Senate is undemocratic, the House is. The House represents people, the Senate represents land.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 Can you screenshot and circle where in this thread I disagreed with that?

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 If its so wrong you should be able to articulate it rather than just saying "youre wrong" over and over. But hey, maybe use the word profound one more time and maybe ill magically understand the shit you refuse to type.

[Kelvat @Kelvat]

@AmpedTo @ath3na89 @PanasonicDX4500 About a dozen messages and you never even clarified what the fuck your problem was with what I said, and youre calling me obtuse?
I hope you have a fine day, you arent worth wishing unwellness to.
