One of the more interesting aspects of ADHD is shorter time horizons. Things feel like they’re either “now” or “not now” & if they’re “not now,” they don’t exist.
Deadlines don’t feel real until they’re almost on top of us, which can make it hard to kick ourselves into gear…
If there's anyone who knows how to get this national attention and/or legal support please let me know. @GHMansfield ? And everyone should be asking @jetblue what exactly happened here and what they plan to do to *start* making an apology.
Jet Blue deliberately violated the ADA, emotionally abused a customer by not just denying her dog but by mocking and belittling her, and ruined her travel plans. I would like to hear how #JetBlue justifies their illegal treatment of this paying customer. https://t.co/WHiPUM9xmQ
@KlHumpf The actual twitter app is actually usable now. It's not like the best but it's totally letting me stealth-browse tweets which is pretty much all I want. But also it's a little evil so feel free to stay on the better platform. :)
@PsychNiles Only rarely does the phrase "we should introduce more metrics" end with anything good. Especially where complicated human beings are concerned. This centers performance over relationship. And honestly it's already tough enough when a client leaves, no need to make it worse.
@karamazovas I guess you could say like bowl of soup full of vegetables, and it might be a good idea just for Alt text consistency, but I'd say not strictly necessary. Also hello! 2020 scared me off twitter, but now I'm freelancing and there are apparently jobs here. So I crept back. lol
@A11yAwareness Do you guys have anyone writing a piece about the results of some people doing this? Would be interesting to get a snapshot of people's experiences.
@SuperheroFreak@morganbenjamin This is an accessibility concern. If you are only allowing students with accessibility accommodations use technology, you are forcing those students to out themselves as having disabilities. + some people struggle to get diagnosed.
