Dear @palmpay_ng
A young lady was a victim of a one-chance robbery, during which fraudsters used her PalmPay account to obtain a loan without her consent. She immediately reported the incident and provided a police report, court affidavit, and every document requested.
we work x5 harder than them to make peanuts, they make good money just by working casually. we still pay x5 of whatever they pay to get. we also live in a system that doesn’t like us progressing. i hate my country with all my heart.
She also sent proof of payment.
Shockingly, after your investigation ended, PalmPay debited her account again for the same loan, meaning she has now paid twice.
She is still recovering from the trauma of the robbery, and this duplicate deduction has only worsened her situation.
Please do the right thing. Review the case, acknowledge the duplicate payment, and refund the second deduction without further delay @palmpay_ng@cenbank
Nigeria has now been delisted from the International Maths Olympiad, whose finals are happening in Shanghai, China, this July.
It is one of the most prestigious academic competitions in the world.
Nigeria can now only participate as an observer nation, while other countries can participate fully.
This was because of the Ministry of Education’s inability to fund students for 4 consecutive years through National Mathematical Center.
It’s a big shame for Nigeria.
Hi @PoliceNG_CRU,
We made real progress today.
One of the notorious trigger-happy police officers was apprehended this evening.
He disguised himself as a concerned prosecutor right inside Akinpelu Police Station in the Oshodi Arena area, but my staff quickly recognized him. They caught him secretly taking pictures of me and forwarding them to his cartel members while simultaneously asking me to provide my home address, office address, and phone number.
We did not want to take the law into our own hands, but the DCO immediately ordered his men to detain him, seize his phone, delete all the pictures of me that he had secretly taken, and have him remanded.
His cartel members are still at large, including those who pointed an AK-47 at my head.
I will not rest until they are all brought to justice.
Thank you for your swift coordination and response to this matter.
School suspends a 5-year-old for fighting.
Dad gets called in. Expecting him to apologize, punish his son, and play the good little parent.
Instead the dad listens to his son:
“This kid was picking on me at recess. I asked him to stop. He didn’t.”
Then the dad turns to the principal and says what every father in America has been thinking:
“So you don’t even know what the bully was doing to my kid… but you’re suspending MY son for ending it?”
He looks at the bully kid and says:
“You gonna think twice before you bully my son again.”
Then he turns to his boy, gives him knuckles right there in the office in front of the principal, assistant principal, counselor, and nurse:
“Son, I’m proud of you. You ain’t suspended. You got a three-day vacation. It’s hunting season. Let’s go.”
Zero tolerance policies are a joke.
They only tolerate one thing: kids who won’t defend themselves.
This dad just reminded every weak administrator in America what real parenting looks like.
Raise men. Not victims.
HR forced me to hire a junior systems administrator last week.
He's 23 years old and showed up on day 1 carrying a physical notebook.
He spent his first morning looking at our backend and realized my automation scripts were written in 2008.
He asked me why we're running deprecated code that relies on an unpatched version of Windows 7.
I told him we employ a strategy of chronological obfuscation.
I explained that modern malware is designed to attack modern architecture.
By keeping our infrastructure trapped in the Bush administration, we're immune to zero-day exploits.
You can't hack what you can't interface with.
He looked at me like I was insane and asked about data compliance.
I leaned back in my chair and whispered the phrase "asynchronous legacy tunneling".
He immediately closed his notebook and apologized for questioning my vision.
I spent the rest of the afternoon watching a 4-hour documentary about the Roman Empire at my desk.
Next week I'm going to make him untangle category 5 cables for character development.
I am Tomori.
A Nigerian court, the Federal High Court, Lagos, ordered the Police to pay my medical bill after they shot me.
They totally ignored and kept silent.
For 10 years.
If the institution meant to protect you can shoot you, cripple you, turn you into a disabled person, and ignore a court order.
Who is protecting your human rights?

These Police Officers just parked me at Bolade, Oshodi, pointed guns at me, and forced me to transfer N100,000 them. When my bank app showed "exceeded transfer limit", they dragged me to a nearby POS to do it with my card.
They initially demanded 150k each.
They were 4 in number.
These are the names I could copy:
