@luinalaska The first, and only, time I used Airbnb I woke up the morning after arriving to find that I had no way out of the building 😂 Back door was in a room that was separately rented out and front door was now blocked by construction that the owner forgot to mention was starting. Fun!

@ZoeRoseBryant It would have been such a good movie! That rising tension of knowing that something is off. The shock of the truth. And then give us a final shot of her standing among the cryopods as it cuts to black. Lingering question of how/if anyone could handle living and dying alone there.

@zachsilberberg Vaguely related but I hate it when live action shows/movies kill animals, often pets, for a joke. It's bad enough when it's the setup for something, but when the death itself is the entirety of the joke and we're meant to sit there and laugh at it, it's like... who wrote this?

@RoyalMailHelp I have a parcel coming that has been routed to the wrong delivery office three times now, just doing a little loop around the region as it bounces between there and the mail center over and over. It's not urgent, so I'm mostly just amused. When does the ride end?

@BabyDEPECHE @triketora When the builders realised that I legitimately had no exit doors and they were working with fire their health & safety/liability training kicked in and they went into action mode. Brought ladders round the back to exfiltrate me via the kitchen window and over the back fence 😆

@triketora Fond memories of being physically unable to leave my airbnb because the owner forgot to mention that the front door would become completely blocked by construction on the facing building the morning after I arrived and the only room with a back door was now a rented bedroom.
