@GlasgowKillie@HDorling53@jimac111 It is happening, but very slowly. I have met very few nurses that have managed to complete the process, the application for regrading itself is a small book!
@GlasgowKillie@HDorling53@jimac111 Your post just popped up on my timeline so I only got "the vast majority of nurses...who will be paying the highest tax rate" which is definitely not correct
@GlasgowKillie@HDorling53@jimac111 If you get a Band 6 position, you are on the bottom of the pay spine for 2 years, then point 2 for two years and then at the top where you then stay.
That would mean most Band 6 Nurses are not at the bottom of the pay scale as opportunities the move to Band 7 are limited
@NurseStandard I am due to qualify this year and the NQN recruitment started in February. I have still not anything but one board have told us not to expect to hear anything until July.
Stressful is not the word
@candyspets2@Burnt2020@StevenMAlderson You are correct. As a Student MHN, I potentially face disciplinary charges for using ward tea/coffee/milk for myself.
Don't get me started on the vast amount of food that goes down the waste disposal that we are also not allowed to eat
@TheBMA@Vish_Sharm It has already been done for lots of public sector workers. Move from final to average salary, reduced lump sum, increased contributions
@wyllie_cameron @OliverConway Better early intervention is absolutely the best choice. However, staff skills base is central when there is no other option than to place a child in care.
Residential staff in Scotland have to meet standards of training to register, this was abandoned in England to cut costs
