Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers are at the heart of our community and critical to our economy.
In Congress, I’m fighting to pass the DAIRY PRIDE Act. This bill will protect our dairy farmers by prohibiting non-dairy products from using dairy names. 💯
@dmtrubman @civlover @FairmountResdnt Obviously letting people on the bus takes longer than not letting people on the bus. The relevant question is how long does it take to let 5 on at stop A and 5 at stop B vs 10 at stop A. The difference in these, roughly, is one more time opening and closing the door.
@dmtrubman @civlover @FairmountResdnt Right of course, but unless we're planning or hoping for a reduction in ridership, the question is not whether it's faster, but whether there is less per-passenger overhead. Like we're talking about the time to open and close the door basically
Experts told us on the first day it would take months to reopen I-95.
But because of the hard work of our outstanding tradesmen and women and our all hands on deck approach, we’re now on track to reopen I-95 just about two weeks after the collapse.

@jessesingal The net effect, as an American, of denouncing Putin is nil. The net effect of this rhetoric is to pressure the US government to be amenable to commit to no NATO expansion, one step closer to peace. Who is really the good/bad guy here is secondary imo.
Might be most impressive non-record I've seen in awhile.
Schuylkill River at #Philly is at a level topped only during Reconstruction (Oct. 4, 1869), almost 152 years ago.
@nandorvila Have you read this before? People's capacity for cognitive dissonance can be pretty incredible somtimes. I was gonna post that Upton Sinclair quote but it honestly feels too on the nose.
