@Braves@TruistPark I cannot wait for August 6th! Not because I have any interest in the bobble head, but because this song and this commercial both make me want to tear my ears off and set myself on fire. Once we get to August 7th, it will finally be over with!
Not a fan of the City Connect jerseys in general, but the Cincinnati Reds City Connect jerseys are absolutely hideous. One of the worst I've seen. They look like arena league jerseys, if baseball had an arena league.
@RealMattlanta I do a little. Turner was easier for me to get to and from via Marta. Also, I miss the wider concourses where you rarely ran into human traffic jams like you do at Truist. Everything else about Truist is better though.
@RossKneeDeep The Beforetimes or something like that. You know, something that people living in a post-apocalyptic hellscape would call the times before the world ended.
@ShortStopBall LOL! The Braves moved from Boston to Milwaukee 73 years ago. So, for someone to actually *remember* being a Boston Braves fan who may still be raw about it, they'd at least have to be in their early 80's. Not much of a demographic to base a rivalry off of, but ok. ๐
Must Listen:
Former Atlanta Braves outfielder and current broadcaster Jeff Francoeur on getting ejected for the 1st time in 2006 in San Diego.. & then Bobby Cox gets ejected with him...
"Bobby... what do I do... I've never been ejected?
"Go get in the cold tub and have a few beers" ๐
As a guy who eats, sleeps, and breathes Braves baseball every summer, and who has for well over three decades, I felt like I owed it to Ted and to Bobby to be here tonight. There's no crying in baseball? Yeah, there is. Tonight, there is. Go Braves.
