বাংলাদেশী দুজন - নজরুল ইসলাম এবং সিথি আক্তার। তারা উভয়ই বিন লাদেন কোম্পানিতে চাকরি করতো এবং তারা উভয়ই মক্কাতুল মোকাররামায় মসজিদুল হারামের পরিচ্ছন্ন কর্মী ছিল, মেয়ে‌টির ভিলা ছি‌লো বাতহা কুরাইশ আর ছে‌লে‌টির ভিলা ছি‌লো হাইয়‌্যাল ইসকান।

‌ডিউটি কর‌তে এসে তাদের মাঝে প্রেমের সম্পর্ক হয়ে যায় এবং তারা মসজিদুল হারামের ৮৫ থেকে ৮৭ নং গেটের মাঝের সিঁড়ির উপ‌রে নির্জন কোঠায় তারা ব্যভিচারে লিপ্ত হয়।

নজরুল ইসলাম তার এক ইন্ডিয়ান বন্ধুকে পাহারা দেওয়ার জন্য নিচে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে বলে। সেই বন্ধুটি এই ঘটনার ভিডিও করে। পরে সে‌ নি‌জেও এই মে‌য়ে‌টির সাথে ব্যভিচার করার আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করলে, যখন করতে পারে না বা তারা সম্মতি দেয় না, তখন এটা পাবলিশ করে দেয়।

এরপরে ঘটনা জানাজানি হয়ে যায়। সৌদি প্রশাসন তিনজনকেই ধরতে সক্ষম হয়। ইন্ডিয়ান ছেলের ২০ বছর কারাদণ্ড হয়, সে জেলে আছে এবং বাকি যে দুইজন, এই দুইজনকে জেলে রাখা হয়।

নজরুল ইসলাম বাংলাদেশ থেকে আসে নভেম্বরের ১০ থেকে ১৩ তারিখের মাঝে ২০২২ সালে এবং ২০২৩ সালের মে মাসে এই অপকর্ম করে এবং সৌদি প্রশাসনের কাছে ধরা পড়ে এবং জেলে থাকে ২০২৩ এর মে থেকে নিয়ে ২০২৬ এর এই অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত। বিচার কার্য হয়েছে দীর্ঘ সাড়ে তিন-চার বছর।

এর মাঝে সৌদি সরকারের দায়িত্ব হচ্ছে তার কফিলকে, কোম্পানিকে জানানো। অন্যান্য দেশের মানুষকে জানানো এটা তাদের দায়িত্ব না।

অনেকেই অভিযোগ করছেন যে, এবং ওমরা করতে গেছিল, চুমু দিয়েছিল - এগুলো সম্পূর্ণ মিথ‌্য বা‌নোয়াট কথা। তারা অবিবাহিত ছিল, অবিবাহিত ছিল ঠিক আছে, কিন্তু অবিবাহিতর মৃত্যুদণ্ড কেন হবে এখানে? জা‌নেন?! এটা মসজিদুল হারাম। এখানে শুধুমাত্র জেনার শাস্তি নয়, এখানে সে মসজিদুল হারামের হুরমাত, সম্মান নষ্ট করেছে। এর জন্য দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির জন্য সুপ্রিম কোর্টের বড় বড় বিচারকরা তাজীর হিসা‌বে মৃত‌্যূদন্ড উপযুক্ত মনে করেছেন সেই শাস্তি দিয়েছেন। যা কুরআন ও সুন্নাহ সম্মত।

সবচেয়ে বড় আশ্চর্যের বিষয় হচ্ছে যে, আমরা এটা নিয়ে এখনো নির্লজ্জের মতো মিথ‌্য কথা বলছি। বাংলাদেশের রাম-বাম-নাস্তিক যারা, তারা তো বলতেই আছে, এমনকি যারা বাংলাদেশে ইসলামী আইন কায়েম করবো ব‌লে, তা‌দের কেউ কেউ এই বিচারের বিরোধিতা করছে। কা‌জেই ভা‌লো প‌রিবা‌রের সন্তান হ‌লে ব‌্যভিচা‌রের সমর্থন দ্য়ো বন্ধ করুন, ওর পিতা মাতা‌কে নির্লজ্জের মত মি‌ডিয়ায় কথা বল‌তে নি‌ষেধ করুন। আল্লাহ হেদায়েত দান করুন।

Many Islamophobes here have been spreading false narratives, claiming that the Bangladeshis executed by the Saudi authorities were couples who were simply kissing each other inside the Grand Mosque.

You can dislike Saudi Arabia for being a Muslim country, but why spread unverified stories just to discredit it? If you want to criticise the authorities, at least get your facts right instead of deliberately misleading people and fueling hatred against Islam.
