@ChrisBarrett Data shows the start of every quarter the reserve addition jumps above $5M. This quarter start is actually slightly less than last quarter’s start.
I’d like to see it not fall back to ~$4.4M next month (which it historically does).
@josefabregab I’m not fully educated on the $AERO buy back approach, but the dependency on others to lock is why I prefer the burn approach $UNI has taken. Supply only goes down assuming no 2% DAO mint
@jaypaul 100% - Appreciate the optionality of the reserve for future ecosystem development but CL is either a $100M business that should be able to support this on their own or its not. ethereum:0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca came from dust, it should go back that way.
Robinhood buying a ton of ETH seems like an obvious move at this point.
They'll likely make $ on it for their balance sheet + it will pay for itself many times over in terms of the marketing and onchain activity it would likely spark.
As I think more about ETH for this cycle, this is probably the bull case nobody is talking about. Not the SOV narrative. Just institutions deploying/building and then "signaling" to the community with ETH purchases.
That could be quite reflexive during "risk-on" conditions for crypto.

$LINK is the exclusive asset for direct exposure to the success of @Chainlink
Unlike other projects that have sold both tokens and equity to investors (creating conflicting economic interests), Chainlink is not driving value to any equity and there is no IPO—there is only $LINK
Any claim or perception that the goal is to maximize the value of Chainlink Labs at the expense of, or in isolation of, LINK holders (e.g, Ripple stock vs XRP) is dead wrong
There's no better proof in this than how Chainlink Labs employee compensation works
Employees do not receive equity, they receive base comp in local currency and a long-term incentives program tied to $LINK
Interests are fully aligned via direct skin in the game
Think about it, any detrimental action toward LINK holders would directly impact the CLL employees building the protocol as well, makes no sense
Some of the largest $LINK whales I personally know work for CLL, there is an shared interest in seeing the token do well
Fundamentally, we are all in this together
