Devon Cassidy a social worker in BC who works for Legal Aid celebrates the death of Charlie Kirk

I'm sick to my stomach. Real evil lives amongst us
This is how Manitoba’s NDP Minister of Families Nahanni Fontaine chose to react to Charlie Kirk’s killing.
She called him a “racist, xenophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, sexist, white nationalist mouthpiece” and said she has NO EMPATHY for him.
I believe every Canadian deserves dignity, respect, and compassionate care, no matter how they identify. Fining a nurse $93,000 for acknowledging biological sex is punishing her for recognizing a scientific reality required to safely practice medicine. We cannot ignore that in medicine, biological sex matters. Nurses and doctors have to distinguish between sex and gender in order to treat patients safely—for example, when prescribing medications, diagnosing conditions, or determining appropriate procedures.
As a trained lawyer, I’m concerned about this case in British Columbia because it raises the real question of whether a professional can safely do their job if they are punished for acknowledging biological realities.
Protecting free and respectful expression, especially when it is rooted in patient safety and professional standards, should never be confused with bigotry.
We need to create a space where Canadians can tell the truth with compassion: upholding the dignity of transgender individuals while also allowing health professionals to practice medicine according to science. These two commitments are not mutually exclusive; they are both essential to a society rooted in respect and reality.

BREAKING: In British Columbia, an ostrich farm just lost its last court fight. Even though most birds are healthy, Ottawa has ordered the entire flock culled after a bird flu outbreak.
Policy vs. Compassion: Is this disease control—or overkill?
BREAKING OSTRICH FARM NEWS:
I’ve just been informed by the farm that after a month of deliberation, The Federal Court of Appeal has unanimously dismissed their case.
A sad day for freedom in Carney’s Canada. Interview on what’s next coming soon at: https://t.co/ziF2wnLm2P
@tleehumphrey Buying "Canadian" is virtue signalling. Instead of being angry at Trump, ask why our PM backs down (no he's not a master negotiator) & what is the president asking of Canada? We've depended on the US militarily for 80 yrs. We always knew that, & appreciated that, until now.
OUTRAGEOUS VERDICT: The jury in the Grace Schara case just failed her—and failed us all.
Grace, a 19-year-old girl with Down syndrome, was killed by a hospital following an unauthorized DNR order. Her family never consented. She was given a cocktail of lethal drugs without informed consent. And yet…
⚠️ The jury couldn’t even answer basic questions.
❌ They refused to rule on key facts.
💔 And instead of justice, they gave cover to a corrupt system.
This wasn’t just a legal failure. It was a moral collapse. The system bent over backward to protect hospital protocols over human life—and a precious girl paid the price.
Grace deserved answers. She deserved justice.
And the jury just handed the medical industrial complex a free pass to do it again.
🔁 SHARE this post. Let them know we saw the injustice.
✊ We will not let her death be swept under the rug.

I ran Mark Carney’s social media through AI and here’s what it said: The repetition of crisis language (“divided world,” “dangerous times”) is often used to justify top-down action, usually without democratic oversight. It lays the emotional groundwork for Canadians to accept erosion of sovereignty or expanded surveillance/censorship, all in the name of “safety” or “stability.”
@RK_UNBREAKABLE @bizlet7 Agree. A calorie is a measure of heat. It doesn't describe what happens when we digest and metabolize food. Many studies show people lose weight by changing what they eat not how much. The problem with CICO is with restriction your metabolism slows down. 98% gain back the weight.
@bizlet7 With that flabby middle I'd say it's the highly processed foods, lack of protein & anything remotely real. She could probably eat the same amount of calories eating real food and a lot of that flab would disappear. Careful though the toxins stored in the fat will be released!
@carlwheless @Alphafox78 As an educator, that young child doesn't have ADHD. You have to be 7 to get that diagnosis. She's doing what many children would do without an adult to redirect and help her with self control. She may not have it yet but it can be taught IF the parent also has self reg
