Some photos from Mon to Fri visit to Norfolk via Eldernell. 1 of 4 LEO found with thermal, sanderling feeding near shorelark Holkham, spotshank and greenshank. Other highlights pallid harrier, RT divers, LT duck, velvet scoter, woodcock, SEO and best views barn owl.

#Belvide today little grebe at the west end, 1 of 2 black-necked grebes in front of Chappell hide and video of all that I could see of a common snipe. Thermal cameras are brilliant but it can take a long time to find something it highlights for you. Watch for it blinking.

On a very grey day at #Belvide a black and white bird (drake goldeneye) seemed appropriate. Also a pair of mandarin duck, drake goosander, black-tailed godwit, pair of pintail, lesser scaup and at dusk 3 smew.
