Lesser Yellowlegs found today at Butt of Lewis Outer Hebrides. Couple of quick pictures grabbed before bird flushed by walkers. Also enjoyed Arctic & Great Skuas, plus puffins, black guillemots on Stornoway crossing, Fulmar & Arctic Terns near campsite & 3 calling Corncrake!
I’m not a moth expert, but always fascinated to see new species…this (Emmilina?) on the back of my dirty van this morning, very appropriate for Easter weekend I thought.
Little Egret, 6 Snipe & 2 stonechat near Walton Grange on Church Eaton Lane this afternoon, also 200 Linnet, 100 Chaffinch & 6 Brambling on Wilbrighton Hill.

Yes Mark they are super stunning birds, my last Hawfinch was February last year at Tittesworth, surprised you didn’t see that one. This one only 3 miles from home & well worth a look.
Great views of Hawfinch at Newport Cemetery (Shropshire) 1.33pm today. Thanks to finder Martin Grant earlier this week, re-found today by Dad @PaulBen83600588
