I spent the last year building something deeper: a Sovereign Cognitive Substrate.

CMPSBL OS v5.5.0 is officially live. It’s a 131k LOC operating system that manages its own evolution.

2/ The architecture isn't just software; it’s a nervous system.

Built around a 4-layer kernel with 13 specialized modules, it handles its own memory (BRAIN), security (DEFENSE), and hardware/API routing (NEXUS).

3/ The "Holy Grail" feature: Recursive Self-Improvement.

The MODERNIZER module scans the substrate's own repo, identifies technical debt, and proposes upgrades.

It then writes and tests these changes in "Shadow Mode" before merging. It literally gardens itself.
