I was talking to an employee yesterday about $GALA and he had an interesting view. He said we are the only top 100 token that has had no defi elements this entire time. He pointed it out that we are now adding a ton of defi to the project:
1. DEX
2. Launchpad
3. Staking
4. Defi loans
5. Native stable coins
6. 3rd party development

He and I agreed that we are both very excited about the future of $GALA

This doesn't include all the efforts internally on Games, Music and Film. Nor any of our efforts to do work in government around the world.

Lots happening at $GALA right now...I will be sharing soon some of the exciting news related to big deals with government and large corporations. But those are still cooking and I will share once I can take them out of the oven and show you all.
However! I can talk a little about some of the cross chain work we have been doing lately. We already have shared we have a bridge to $SOL but now we have enabled $GALA on Solana. This was a bit of a challenge because now we are managing supply across $GALA, $ETH, $TON and $SOL. We plan on adding even more ways to move tokens around the world of crypto. As I'm putting together my tux for tonight's Gala with the @GiannoCaldwell Institute I had some thoughts I'd share about the recent news about the hack...

The very fact that it was even considered that we might fork ETH to resolve this issue raises a very important point @DavidSacks

As we plan for our #Bitcoin reserves or if we have an American Wealth Fund that also includes #Ethereum and other public blockchain tokens I would like to point out that these tokens have some inherent vulnerabilities that we need to consider.

Foremost on my mind is the possibility that an organized group with Anti-American intentions might obtain 51% of the Bitcoin hashrate and begin double spending. It strikes me that America in this case must always be capable of defending itself from such an attack. If more and more of our nations wealth becomes invested in Bitcoin this becomes a more interesting vector to disrupt our nation and we cannot allow this to happen.

Frankly, this is why I am advocating for a purely American solution on a permissioned chain like #GalaChain. I would fork GalaChain and create Liberty Chain and have the USACoin live there safely ensconced in our country safe from foreign actors.
