@MissJilianne It is fundamentally flawed to have ever believed that a small camera (not the entire windshield and not representing what impacts the driver) and visualization is the best way to detect a wet windshield. Just Elon Musk hubris at the core of this flaw.
@FSDFiles It may not even be repeatable on FSD 14.3.8. Unless you prove it is a repeatable failure, you don’t know if a version change or a change in environmental conditions explain why it didn’t happen.
@Teslarati Try toggling the FSD speed profile to some other profile and the. Back to the profile you had set, just after passing the lower speed limit sign. I have found that this changing and changing back of the profile seems to make it “aware” of the speed change.
@edgecase411@Tesla_AI Lane markings probably confused it. A double yellow line on one side and single yellow line on the other side and the lack of the typical double arrows used for a center turning lane in either direction made it unsure how to interpret what that lane is for.
@DBurkland Jus for diagnostic purposes you might try turning off the schedule just to see if that is interfering somehow. I do know that with the schedule it does “wake up” to see if it is time to charge. It might do that regardless of whether it is plugged in or not. Worth a try.
@DavidMoss Preconditioning for supercharging can take up to 2 hours. 30 minutes was not sufficient to raise the battery pack temperature to optimal levels for supercharging. Ambient temperature is not as significant in this situation as temperature needs to be relatively high for charging.
@MissJilianne The fact that every version of software results in some people stating it has greatly improved and others stating it has significantly regressed means that Tesla is not properly in control of their software and product throughout the fleet.
