@Theleaguemag The sister paper of Daily Record, I should have known. The Record would plug EXCLUSIVES which actually happened. Once had an exclusive that McCoist would sign for Aberdeen. Didn't happen. Never plugged that one again. #BobBobBob
@nowthisimpact I'm sorry, @realDonaldTrump , I thought you'd sorted Iran out. Are you suggesting your earlier statements were wrong? If not, why should anyone believe you now?
@danny28748565@spectator And there's been plenty of opportunities to cancel this. The governments led by May, Johnson, Truss & Sunak, as well as Starmer have all proceeded with MTD.
@cricinfo I'd accept this but for the fact that when the Hundred was created, they did everything they could to say it wasn't 20 over cricket, it was a new format and it was all balls.
@BrianSpanner1 The Commonwealth Games have FAR bigger issues than who has the tv rights here. These Games was originally awarded to Victoria, Australia. They pulled out. Glasgow stepped in.
2022 was awarded to Durban but Birmingham stepped in to stage them.
It's already on life-support.
@bonhectare@WG_RumblePants Sobers was a very entertaing left-handed batter but he was much more than that. Bowled seam, swing, left-arm wrist & orthodox spin. Top quality close fielder too.
There was only one better cricketer than him, ever, the Don.
PS I never saw Sobers play live on tv or in person.
@WG_RumblePants Best all-rounder ever. And the best example of why stats alone, in any sport, can't judge how good a player actually is. Could bowl seam & swing, left-arm orthodox spin and left-arm wrist spin. A top, top, quality batsman too, which everyone should know already.
If you do this quiz, you will find that Sue Barker (SF 1977) isn't one of their answers. #wimbledon@bbcsport@bbctennis

@RationalAgent7@johnwalker_1986 There were 24 teams in 1982. Scotland would have qualified then had the format been the same as subsequent 24 team World Cups.
@ScotsFootyCards Another piece of useless trivia; Sunday will see the first knockout game that doesn't involve an European team or a South American team or the USA.
