@CNN Power, money, and privilege is the heroin addiction of the political player. Once they taste that feeling, they'll chase that dragon until it destroys them. Max Miller is the latest to fall victim to this disease. He won't resign because he can't.
@vanranstmarc@RobertKennedyJr This is the most concise rebuttal of the entirety of MAGA I've ever read, and I applaud the author for his thoughtful contribution to our discourse. Thank you for this.
@laralogan A State prosecutor in Florida let him off the hook and sealed the case when he was caught in 2008. He was arrested by the Feds in 2019 and died by suicide in jail a month later. No files could be released pre-trial. Congress had to force Trump to release them. Fact.
@AndersonEv37024@Timodc Sounds like you're advocating for a boots-on-the-ground invasion. We don't have a great track record of those since 1950. If Team Trump does that, impeach and remove becomes a very real possibility as Congressional GOP abandons this President to save themselves.
@Chair_borne@davidfrum "Had it coming" refers to the rejection of Kenya's request to move the embassy and about "a war only one side recognized." Al Quaeda had been on our radar since the 1993 WTC bombing. Were we sleeping on the idea of being attacked at home? Yes. Did we "have it coming?" No.
@0ivankaTrump1 I get that some people disagree with her politics, but what material evidence (not a conspiracy theory) does anyone have that demonstrates she failed as a wife, mother, sister, or First Lady? For all the racists out there, being black is not a failure.
@MarjoriTaylo That statement is blatantly unconstitutional. Even if we said we're a Christian nation, who's interpretation of Christianity are we using? What of Christian cults like the Branch Davidians? Mormons? Maybe we all follow Jehovah's Witness? What of the Jews? Slippery slope, huh...
@Roberto24544659@jonfavs The crusades were 200 years of Christians attacking Muslims after Muslims attacked Christians and vice versa. Now, we're attacking Muslims in Iran presumably to keep them from attacking Christians. You'd think we'd have learned something after 1,000 years. Sadly, we haven't.
@RandPaul How much time have you spent preventing the next pandemic? How much have you increased the budget for that? If it's less time and money than you've spent chasing the past, you need to rethink your priorities.
