Improving EBITDA through better understanding of unit economic ๐ฐ
Letโs break down how this concept applies to ecommerce, how to use it in daily operations, and how to improve it ๐งต
@dogslovecranmer@bonesforsales Then you have already presumed that God is not God. If God truly is God, why would you assume that human reason is the right standard for ethics?
If human reason is the standard, then human reason is your god.
Finance teams should be far more interested in marginal dynamics:
What happens if we sell one more unit?
What happens if we open one more market?
What happens if we close down a factory?
- Nothing replaces selling. And there are no shortcuts here.
- AI is extremely powerful tool, but only helpful when applied to a useful problem.
- Finding said problem is the primary problem of an early stage company. Fingers crossed.

Two months as an entrepreneur now, and it's simultaneously exactly like I expected and nothing like it.
Some observations:
- The feeling of "hard" is indescribable.
- Nothing happens on it's own, everything needs to be pushed.
- Ideas are worth nothing.

- Solving a problem is worth nothing. You need to solve problems that are known and a decision maker is willing to pay for. Lightyears apart.
- Most of these problems are incredibly difficult to solve because they require so customization to the context.

AI is obviously amazingly effective if you make the effort of actually communicating what you want, giving feedback etc.
It can be long and rambly, but as long as you are making the information available, current models will pick it up.
In one case we're even okay with decreasing revenue ~20% vs last year since we're generating three times the gross profit.
In another case we're now close to hitting a positive EBITDA for the first time in years.
Future is looking bright.
February was a month of profit for our ecommerce customers using https://t.co/Tvv4iq5yqA
In January Gross Profit grew in line with revenue, but this month we've been more focused on profitability. In short, we're decreasing marketing investments a bit to generate more cash.
